One of the things that hasn’t gotten nearly enough press (no pun intended) is the fact that although I’ve been developing the product and app myself I haven’t been entirely alone in the journey.
Besides having an incredible and supportive community I also have an intentional and tactical team that’s been helping me fill in the many gaps that exist – I wouldn’t have been able to do what I’ve wanted to do for this community and culture without their amazing help!
They are real and I want to highlight them and publicly thank them on behalf of our community here. They are our Community Leadership Team and they are your resources for connecting more deeply with other community members.
We use WordPress as a communication tool (using a default installation of the P2 Theme) and it’s both our watercooler as well as our strategic and tactical station for deploying our community initiatives and plans.
So here they are, they are the best, and I really, really, really couldn’t have done this without them! Oh, and by the way, you can follow all of them here on the Official Community Leaders Twitter List.
I’m one of the co-leaders of the Google+ page. Hailing from the Great White North known as Canada, I am a passionate supporter and user of Pressgram.
Hello! I’m Jacob deCastro and I help out with Discover Pressgram and marketing.
My day I’m a student and by night I blog at North of Park. You can find me on Twitter, Google+, and Pressgram (@Jacob). I’m really excited that I can finally take back my photos and the potential of this community to do great things.
My name is Demian Seiler and I am one of the community leaders on Google+ for Pressgram. I live in the central Florida area and being a kid at heart, am a proud Disney World annual pass-holder. By trade I am a software developer, but also have interests in photography, sports, broadcasting, blogging, and technology evangelism.
Before Pressgram was made public as a Kickstarter project, I followed John and his team over at 8BIT closely for a couple of years. Knowing the quality of work they created and my existing beliefs in content ownership, my participation in Pressgram was a no brainer. You can find me on Twitter: @demianseiler or visit my landing page at http://demian.is.
Hello! I’m William Bedford and I monitor and track our Twitter campaigns and marketing initiatives.
My passion is technology and that is what I do. I stumbled upon John through searches for learning how to build a WordPress site, which eventually led me to supporting Pressgram. I hail from the UK, but currently I am settled in Boise, Idaho with my fantastic wife and her crazy cat. I love spending time outdoors, reading up on the latest and greatest on all things tech, and anything Apple..
I’m Michael Beil, and I live near Madison, Wisconsin (yes, please think cheese!). My role consists of co-leading our Facebook Page, marketing, and helping on our forums.
I love music, technology, coffee, learning, making people smile, and watching people flourish in their passions. In my spare time you may find me zooming past you on a bike trail, or riding the wind of Lake Mendota.
Hey, I’m Leo and I’m one of the co-leaders of the Facebook Community Team! I have a passion for chocolate, technology, and writing. You can find me on Twitter and on Pressgram (@leo).
Feel free to message me on the Facebook page and we can talk about anything from Pressgram to chocolate!
